Patricia Darez, Chartered Engineer, Renewables
Patricia Darez is Senior Prizma Associate, a multilingual, Chartered Engineer with more than 11 years’ international experience. She has provided technical advice on over 3GW of utility scale renewable energy assets (wind and solar PV) located across several continents and very diverse markets: UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Saudi, Jordan, Turkey, India, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, the US, Canada, Kenya, Ghana and South Africa. Patricia’s experience includes 4 years as an Energy Analysis Manager for Mainstream in Chile, supported the development of approximately 1.5GW of Wind and Solar assets. She provided solar technical advice across all markets that Mainstream operated in.
Prior to that she worked in the UK for Wind Prospect Ltd advising a diverse range of Clients such as GE, HgCapital, EDF, Societe Generale, Exxaro or Globeleq. Patricia is also a director of 350renewables, a renewable energy consultancy that specializes in supporting investors and developers of renewable energy projects with emphasis across South America. She is a founding member of the GTER (www.gter.cl) a platform for professionals and academics in the field of renewable energy who work together to investigate relevant issues with the purpose of optimizing industry best practice and provide tools to influence policy. Patricia has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol (UK), is a Spanish national, and based in Santiago, Chile.
